As per the information received from the sources, in the interim budget presented on February 1, the Government had announced the creation of 1 lakh villages as digital villages. In fact, under the digital village, every type of digital facility exists in the village itself. These include facilities ranging from banking, health facility to education. Government to bring many new facilities
Talking to reporters, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the revival of government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited is also in their priority. However, he also said that telecom companies will have to respond with Vyavasayakita and cooperation. Replying to a question, the telecom minister said that we will auction the spectrum in this calendar year.
