New Delhi: The Health Ministry has issued new guidelines for the treatment of patients affected by global epidemic coronavirus. Under this, the dose of ramadasevir, effective in the treatment of corona, has been reduced. Now this medicine will be given to patients for 5 days instead of 6 days. Remadecivir is antiviral medicine and is given to patients with corona. On Friday, the Union Health Ministry has issued new guidelines in this regard.

The new protocol of the Ministry of Health says that this medicine will go to the patients in the form of injections. On the first day, the patient will be given a dose of 200 mg of Remdesvir, after which the patient will be given a dose of 100-100 mg for the next four days. On 13 June, the Ministry of Health gave permission for use of Remdesvir. The Ministry of Health had then approved the use of Ramdesvir in an emergency under limited use. However, this medicine is not to be given to people suffering from kidney, liver diseases, pregnant women, lactating women and children below 12 years of age.

The Ministry of Health has also given advice regarding hydroxychloroquine. The Ministry of Health has said that this medicine should be used in the initial stage of the disease. The Ministry has said that this medicine should not be given to the seriously ill.
