New Delhi: When the corona epidemic started spreading in the country, the Tablighi Jamaat was blamed for it. Today, the country's parliament also questioned the same issue, the Home Ministry replied in writing. The Home Ministry said that even after the corona outbreak was ordered by various officials, a huge crowd at the Tablighi Jamaat programme in March had been gathering in a complex for a long time, causing infection to spread to many people.

On the issue of Tablighi Jamaat, MP Anil Desai questioned whether it is a fact that the main reason behind the outbreak of coronavirus infection in Delhi and other states is the Tablighi Jamaat? How many people were gathered in Nizamuddin area of Delhi? So far, how many people of the Tablighi Jamaat have been made to rest and what is the status of Maulana Saad? If Maulana Saad has been in the rest, what action has been taken so far?

Replying to the MP's questions, Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said that as reported by Delhi Police, even after issuing instructions by various authorities in view of the corona epidemic, the crowds gathered in the closed premises for a long period without following masks, sanitizers and social distances. This caused the infection of the corona to spread in many individuals.
