New Delhi: The central government recently made an appeal to Twitter. Indeed, the Center says, "1178 Pakistani-Khalistani accounts that spread misinformation and inflammatory material about farmers' protests should be removed." According to the information received, Twitter has not yet fully complied with the orders. Talk right there about taking this new step, the government has taken this step at a time when a few days ago the government asked it to block 250 accounts. Indeed, this is the account through which hashtags like 'Kisan massacre' were used along with spreading misinformation. A notice was given to Twitter on Thursday last week. Now this demand has been made by the IT Ministry after a recent Home Ministry report.

It is being said that the new list has come out that includes accounts that are sympathetic to Khalistan and have links to Pakistan. These have some automated chatbots that are being used to promote misinformation during farmers' protests. Instructions have been issued to block all these accounts. It has been issued on the basis that they can become a threat to the people amidst protests from the farmers running in the country.

The microblogging site is currently on the radar of the IT ministry for 'violating Indian law' by not taking action against those who spread misinformation on 'farmers' protests.' As you know, the IT Ministry had recently instructed Twitter to block about 250 Twitter accounts, which were spreading misinformation and using objectionable hashtags.
