On Tuesday evening, Bhupesh Baghel was meeting the Grand Masters of Chess from all over the world. All these players had reached the Chief Minister's House on the invitation of the CM. To welcome the guests, the decoration of the Chief Minister's residence was done on the basis of Chhattisgarhi's surroundings.
In fact, for the first time in Chhattisgarh, an international match of chess is being held. Players from 15 countries of the world are participating in it. CM Bhupesh Baghel said that chess has emerged from India itself. Therefore, it has been included in the oldest game of India. We are proud that we have been able to organize an international-level competition of chess. Due to this, Chief Minister Baghel welcomed the players by wearing a state Gamcha, according to Chhattisgarhi tradition.
The Grand Masters of Chess, who arrived at CM Baghel's feast, was served Chhattisgarhi dishes during the meal. Players from all over the world were invited for a meal after the interaction. Due to this, they were served Chhattisgarhi dishes like fara, Lal Bhaji, kadhi dumplings, aloo munga and gourd-chana. The chess players praised Chhattisgarhi food, tradition and hospitality. After the meal, CM Baghel sent off the players with Dalia of Chhattisgarhi products and insignia.
