Greater Noida: United Bank of India’s branch at Alpha Commercial Belt caught fire yesterday. According to Fire Station Officer Matloob Hussain, “furniture, computer and records were burnt in the fire but cash in the chest was intact.”
The fire broke out in the evening and the Officer received the calls regarding the blaze around 6.30 pm.
"Immediately two fire tenders were rushed to Alpha Commercial Belt. Fire had broken out at United Bank of India. Within half-an-hour it was extinguished by firemen," he added.
