Groundnut oil prices weakened extra at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market today on subdued demand from stockists and retailers during good arrivals from producing regions. Although, refined palmolein recovered next renewed offtake from retailers.

Among the non-edibles, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial gained further owing to firm demand from shippers and soap industries.

Linseed oil strengthened due to consistent demand from paint and allied industries. In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,140 from Friday's closing level of Rs 1,150.

Meanwhile, refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 587 from Rs 585.

Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,300 from Rs 3,275 and castoroil commercial advanced by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 690 as against Rs 685 previously.
