Hyderabad, Today, State Finance Minister Etela Rajender said, that Telangana government will call an Assembly session this month to pass the Constitution Amendment Bill on Goods and Services Tax.

The Minister said, "Already our Chief Minister had convened a meeting, and it was decided to summon the Assembly as early as possible and urgently pass it".

As for when the state would convene the House to pass the bill, he said, "It will happen as early as possible, it will happen this month".

Modi had acknowledged the support of TRS for the GST Bill, during his maiden visit to Telangana on August 7 after becoming the Prime Minister.
