Ahmadabad: Gujarat University on Tuesday launched a 6-month certificate course in astrology and vaastu.Kamleshkumar Chokshi, the GU head of department of Sanskrit, said there was great demand for astrologers and Vaastu Shastra specialists.
“There are many private institutions that offer a similar course but this is the first time that Gujarat University is offering the course,“ said Chokshi.
The Course will be conducted in Collaboration with ‘Cosmo Research Foundation’.which will be responsible for Facilitating teachers and study Material.
- It will include both theory and practical classes and provide projects for students to have hands-on experience in the subject.
The admission process for the course will begin from August 1, 2016 and classes from August 4, 2016.
"Some teachers from the Sanskrit department and some professional astrologers will be among the teachers of the course," Chokshi said.
