Mumbai:  India breached Gabba fortress by defeating Australia by three wickets against on Tuesday to take the series 2-1. After powering India to victory, Pant said that although it feels good to be compared to former cricketer MS Dhoni, he does not want people to make comparisons as he wants to make his own name in the sport.

Pant was seen singing 'Spiderman-spiderman' behind the stumps on the fourth day of the Test, and taking a cue from that, the ICC decided to dedicate an entire song to the wicket-keeper batsman. ICC took to Twitter and wrote, "Spider-Pant, Spider-Pant. Does whatever a spider can. Hits a six, takes a catch. Guiding India to the match. Look out! Here comes the Spider-Pant," tweeted ICC.

Hero of the victory, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten inning of 89 runs in the fourth innings of the Gabba Test as India chased down the total of 328. It took 32 years and two months, but the difficult task was completed as an injury-ravaged young Indian team beat Australia by three wickets against all odds to take the series 2-1.
