Ahmedabad: The Gujarati man who had earlier called himself the 'Kalki' avatar (the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu) is once again in the news. Ramesh Chandra, a man who has threatened to bring severe drought to the world this year with his "divine powers" if his gratuity money is not released at the earliest. In fact, Ramesh Chandra was an engineer in the water resources department in Gujarat. He first came into the limelight in 2018. Then he described himself as an incarnation of Vishnu and said that he could not come to the office. He was then issued a show cause notice in 2018 for coming to office only 16 days in eight months.

On this he described himself as Vishnu avatar. He was then retired prematurely from government service. Now, in a july letter to the secretary of the water resources department, he said that 'Devils are in the government' are harassing him by withholding Rs 16 lakh as gratuity and one year's salary. He said that the way he is being harassed, he can bring severe drought to the earth, because he is the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Ramesh also said in his letter that 'He is on earth as a 'Kalki' avatar that India has received good rainfall in the last two years. He said, 'The country did not have a year of drought. India has gained Rs 20 lakh crore due to good rains in the last 20 years. Even after that the monsters sitting in the government are bothering me. That's why I'll bring severe drought all over the world this year.'
