Gujarat: Pak to send terrorists through sea route; Intelligence agencies on alert on August 15

NEW DELHI: Since the end of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the neighbouring country Pakistan is now going to use the border with Gujarat for terrorist infiltration. Gujarat Police has been issued an alert by the Central Intelligence Agency (IB) in this regard. The IB has raised fears that Pakistani terrorists may infiltrate through the Indo-Pakistan border in Gujarat through Kutch and carry out a major terror attack on August 15.

Gujarat Marine and Border Police Force are currently deployed in areas bordering Pakistan in Gujarat. In Gujarat, SP Tested Rathore of East Kutch has said, "We are taking every precaution to prevent infiltration. Number of Marines and Border Police are also being deployed in the areas bordering Pakistan. Fishermen living near the border have also been alerted to inform the police immediately if any sensitive vehicle, boat and person appears."

According to media reports, Pakistan has been pursuing a major conspiracy along the Indian border since article 370 was extended in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan's major plot along the Jammu and Kashmir border has also been revealed in son days. Quoting sources, Pakistan has also deployed heavy artillery on the Line of Control. Pakistan is also reported to have deployed fighter planes at all its forward airbases.
