Ahmedabad, December 11: Patidaar leader Hardik Patel on Monday conducted a road show in Ahmedabad where campaigning for phase-2 Gujarat assembly Polls Kicks off in full swing. At the road show, the 24-year-old Patidaar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) Chief said that he is quite confident of victory as more and more people are joining his campaign.

“I am getting a very good response from the people and I am very confident,” Hardik Patel speaks ANI during Ahmedabad motorcycle rally.

Ever since the Patidar protest turned fierce two years ago, Hardik Patel has been banned from entering Mehsana district, which is a vice-like grip of the Kadva Patel community. Hardik Patel also jeered at the state government and bureaucracy, hosted a huge rally near Mehsana district’s border with Patan.

The Bike rally show of strength makes the PAAS positive. “Hardik Patel has already given his address to crowded rallies all over Saurashtra and South Gujarat. If you think those were enormous, wait till you see how the people of North Gujarat turn up in droves. We will make sure that the BJP is punished,” PAAS convenor Narendra Patel said to News 18.

The second phase of voting will be conducted on December 14 and the votes will be counted on December 18. (NT)
