Gujarat becomes first state to implement CAA, will give citizenship to refugees

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has become the first state in the country to support the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In the one-day special session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly on Friday for the support of CAA, the resolution passed by a majority against the opposition. Let us know that the CAA has been approved in both the houses of Parliament last month. However, many states have announced not to implement CAA in their state. Proposal against CAA has been passed in Kerala Assembly.

In support of the Citizenship Amendment Act in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Minister of State for Home Pradeep Singh Jadeja moved the proposal today. While presenting the proposal, Jadeja said that the anti-Hindu face of Pakistan has been exposed today. Brokers doing the brokerage of Pakistan have also come out after this law. In the matter of the conflict between ABVP-NSUI, Jadeja pointed to the opposition and said that because of your bosses, there is unrest in the country including Gujarat.

Jadeja said that the opposition put full force to stop the CAA's offer of support. But the BJP government of the state passed the motion of support in the assembly with a majority. As soon as the one-day session of the assembly started, Congress started making noise. The opposition came in the middle of the House and created so much uproar that Governor Acharya Devvrat left his speech in the middle and left the house. On the other hand, BJP MLA was raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
