Ahmedabad: Only a few months are left for the proposed assembly elections in Gujarat. In such a situation, all the political parties are engaged in the preparations in full swing. Meanwhile, the BJP has targeted the party over the possible CM candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In fact, while starting the mega medical camp in Surat on Thursday, Gujarat BJP unit president CR Patil has targeted AAP over freebie culture and Medha Patkar.

During this, Patil said that today there are many such people who are distributing different types of freebies in Gujarat. The budget that is being given is much more than the total budget of Gujarat. The entire budget of Gujarat will go to the freebie only. This will stop the development of the country. Especially, we should recognize the Urban Naxals who are causing harm to the people of Gujarat. He said that Bhupendra Bhai (Chief Minister) had said in Kutch that it is Urban Naxalites who are against the development of Gujarat. Their attempt is to destabilize the state. Efforts are being made to disturb the peace and prosperity here. When there was a scarcity of water in Kutch and Saurashtra, at that time the water of the Narmada scheme was not authorised to reach here. Medha Patkar campaigned for many years and created many problems for Gujarat, due to which water was not available in Kutch and Saurashtra for 15 to 20 years.

Let us inform you that not only the BJP President of Gujarat, but Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who reached Gujarat, had also targeted Medha Patkar, who opposed Narmada, saying that AAP wants to bring her back into Gujarat politics. Medha Patkar had opposed the Narmada project in Gujarat. At the same time, AAP had fielded Medha Patkar, a founding member of Narmada Bachao Andolan, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Mumbai. Now BJP has become an attacker on Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat regarding Medha Patkar.
