Ahmedabad: A case of a Gujarat BJP leader being threatened with a Kanhaiyalal-like act has come to light. His name is Nilesh Singh Jadhav. She is the BJP chief of Padra taluka of Vadodara. He has been threatened by fundamentalists for commenting on the brutal murder of Udaipur on June 29, 2022. Jadhav has complained to the police about this. In Udaipur, Kanhaiyalal was hacked to death by Mohammad Riaz and Gos Mohammad in the shop after he posted in support of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

In fact, an acquaintance of Jadhav had written a post on Facebook condemning the Udaipur massacre. He wrote, "Such an incident happens in the Taliban, Afghanistan or Pakistan. It's frightening and embarrassing to humanity. The culprits who committed this incident should be severely punished so that no one can dare to repeat it from now on. The law will do its job. Please maintain the peace.'' Replying to the same post, Jadhav wrote in his comment, "The killer knew that he would go to jail for this. He may be inside for life imprisonment. In lieu of carrying out this incident, his family must have received at least crores of rupees and all this money will be from Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.''

Jadhav further wrote, "Therefore, the NIA should also arrest the father, mother, brother, sister, relatives of the killer and the clerics living around him. So that no one can use that money. Also, attach all the property of those people.'' He wrote, "These people commit such crimes not for the Hurons but for money.'' In response to this comment, Abdul Subur Chowdhury abused Jadhav and threatened him, "The same will happen to Nilesh and people like him."

According to a report in OpIndia, Jadhav has said that he had commented on the social media post of a person from Rajasthan demanding strict punishment for the culprits and confiscation of their property. He said "Abdul Subur Chowdhury has given me this comment and said that I will have the same fate as Kanhaiyalal. I have given a complaint to the police and they have provided me with security.''

At the same time, the police have registered a complaint under sections 507 (criminal intimidation) and 294 (b) (use of abusive language) of the IPC against the person who threatened Jadhav with an ID named Abdul Subur on social media. Although the account has now been deleted, the police are investigating the matter thoroughly.  On June 28, 2022, Kanhaiyalal was brutally murdered after entering his shop. For which the Supreme Court had convicted suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. But, if someone is killed for condemning the Kanhaiyalal murder case, who will be responsible for it?
