Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP President CR Patil has given a big hint before the Gujarat Assembly elections. It indicated that as per the no-repeat theory, the party may give tickets to 100 new persons in the assembly elections. The winning MLAs may also be excluded. Gujarat BJP President CR Patil while addressing the workers of Himmatnagar Page Committee said, BJP may sort tickets by adopting no-repeat theory with 100 MLAs who won the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections.

Patil told the workers' conference that at present 70 out of 182 seats are not with the BJP. Along with these 70 seats, 30 sitting MLAs can contest with a new face instead. Addressing the workers, CR Patil said that even Rajendra Singh Chavda, MLA of Himmatnagar, is not permanent here. He said that as an MP, I am also not permanent.

Patil also said that there is no need to take offence at this. He encouraged the workers that any worker can demand a ticket, he must do so. Patil said the party has given a place to a brand new face in the organisation. In such a situation, the new face may also get an opportunity in the elections. Patil said that before giving the ticket, the party conducts 5 to 6 different surveys and the ticket is fixed at the top level. The ticket is decided on the basis of how much work the MLA has done and how much work has not been done.
