Ahmedabad: The swearing-in Gujarat Cabinet Minister Oath Taking ceremony of Bhupendra Patel cabinet will be held in Gujarat today i.e. The program will take place at 1.30 pm. Sources say 27 MLA ministers will be sworn in on Thursday and all will be new faces. The ceremony was earlier scheduled to take place on Wednesday, but it was postponed due to internal strife within the BJP.

It may be recalled that the swearing-in of Gujarat's new chief minister Bhupendra Patel has already taken place. His cabinet was scheduled to be sworn in on Wednesday, but now the swearing-in will take place on Thursday. Sources say 27 MLAs will be sworn in as ministers on Thursday and all will be new faces. This swearing-in ceremony will be held Thursday at 1.30 pm. Earlier also, there was talk of a massive cabinet reshuffle, which sparked an internal controversy. Efforts are being made to persuade old ministers who will not get a cabinet berth. However, one or two women are also expected to be given a seat in the cabinet.

New chief minister Bhupendra Patel reportedly wanted to replace nearly 90 percent of the ministers. In that case, only 2-3 faces would repeat, that is, those who were made ministers again. Some BJP MLA also visited former CM Vijay Rupani's house and met him amid fears of being expelled from the ministerial post.
