Ahmedabad: Gujrat CM Vijay Rupani blamed Tabligi Jamaat for spreading coronavirus in the state. Gujarat ranks second in terms of maximum corona patients. There have been more than 70,000 people tested and 4721 corona patients have been found infected. Roopani said that the process of door-to-door investigation is being followed and surveillance is being done.

Roopani said that out of the total cases, 70% belong to Ahmedabad alone. He said that more than 3000 tests are being done daily in Gujarat. He said that the manner in which the hoarders concealed the corona cases increased many cases. In Ahmedabad, Jamaat members met people hiding travel history and roamed without stopping, which increased the number of patients. Roopani said that due to the Jamaatis in Ahmedabad, Corona cases increased so much.

Talking to a media institute, Roopani said that the government deployed 750 teams in Ahmedabad without losing time and quarantined people suffering from colds and fever, otherwise the situation would worsen. He informed that the Ahmedabad death rate has also increased.
