Gujarat Chief Minister says will soon bring strict law against 'love jihad' in state

Ahmedabad: Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani has said on Sunday that his government is going to bring a strong law against love jihad in the state as soon as possible. He made this announcement while addressing a rally for the upcoming civic elections in Vadodara. Such a law has already been introduced in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

CM Rupani has further said that we are going to bring a law against the love jihad in the assembly, in the coming days, the BJP government will bring a strong law against the love jihad. Significantly, such a law has been brought in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. CM Rupani announced this while addressing a rally for the upcoming civic elections in Vadodara.

Earlier, the CMs of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have taken these important decisions. The first arrest in this case in UP was made from Bareilly district. The incumbent CM Yogi Adityanath made this decision after the continuous increase in the affairs of Love Jihad. At the same time, an increase in cases of this manner was also registered in Madhya Pradesh. After which now Gujarat has also taken this decision.
