Gandhinagar: A statement by Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel has surfaced which could create an uproar. He has said that the constitution, secularism, and law in the country will continue as long as Hindus are the majority. He further said, "Write my words, if the number of Hindus decreases, there will be no court, no law, no democracy, no constitution will remain on that day."

The Gujarat Deputy CM made the statement at the Bharat Mata Temple in Gandhinagar. This temple is considered to be the first Bharat Mata temple in the state. State Home Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja and top leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were present at the time Patel made the statement. Patel further said, "Some people in our country talk about the Constitution and secularism. But Let me tell you and if you want to record it, do it... Write down my words.''

Nitin Patel said that those who talk about constitution, secularism, and law, etc. will do so as long as Hindus are the majority in this country, but the day... The number of Hindus decreases, others increase, then neither secularism nor Lok sabha nor constitution will remain. Everything will be blown up in the air.
