Ahmedabad: Gujarat CM Nitin Patel's statement that he feels sad to see the nameplate of non-Gujarati officers in the secretariat. At the same time, he said, 'When I go to the secretariat every day, it is sad to see the nameplate of secretaries there that most of the senior officers including all the IAS, IPS are from outside Gujarat.'

According to media reports, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said, "We read and went to trade and many other countries including America but could not reach the secretariat." At the same time, he further says that somewhere in the affection meeting of the Chaudhary community in Gandhinagar. He appealed to the people of the Chaudhary community to teach and educate their children so much that they could be elevated to higher positions.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that the BJP leader said that there was a time when Gujaratis were interested in government jobs. There are many places in the Government of India, including railways, ports, ONGC, where there are very few Gujarati officers at a high level. We did not take interest on this side, only kept on moving forward in business. It is being said that now students are pursuing higher education. In such a situation, every parent wants their children to become IAS-IPS officers. I am confident that in the coming times, more and more Gujarati people will hold high positions including IAS-IPS.
