Gandhinagar: Gujarat may get a new CM today. The BJP legislature party will meet in Gandhinagar at 3 pm today (Sunday). All BJP MLAs have reached the Kamalam office in Gandhinagar. Gujarat State President Cr Patil, Executive Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, Central Observers Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Joshi, and Tarun Chugh are also present in the office.

The discussions are in full swing in the name of three leaders Nitin Patel, Mansukh Mandaviya, and Purushottam Rupala for the new CM of Gujarat. CR Patil has already said that he is not in the race for chief minister. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that there are rumors in the media that I will be made CM but the media is spreading my name based on my experience. The BJP high command will determine who will be the CM? The CM should be one who is popular, experienced, and takes everyone together.

It may be noted that Vijay Rupani had resigned as Gujarat CM on Saturday. He had submitted his resignation to Governor Acharya Devvrat. After resigning, he also held a press conference. He said the responsibilities of workers in the BJP are changing from time to time. I will discharge whatever responsibility I get. The Gujarat government did a good job in the corona epidemic. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said that we will hold discussions with local leaders. Thereafter, the central leadership of the party will take a decision.
