Gandhinagar: By-elections were also held in 8 assembly seats in Gujarat at the time of Bihar assembly elections. All the candidates who won during this period are going to take oath today. According to the information received, BJP candidates have won this by-election and the Congress did not get anything. Among these 8 newly-elected MLAs, Pradyuman Singh Jadeja from Abdasa, Vijay Patel from Dangi, JV Kakadia from Dhari, Atmaram Parmar from Gadda, Jeetu Chaudhary from Kaprada, Akshay Patel from Karjan, Kirit Singh Rana from Limbi and Brijesh from Morbi are included. Now the oath-taking ceremony of MLAs is being held today.

Explaining this, BJP spokesperson Pankaj Desai said, 'The leaders who won the by-elections in Gujarat this month will take oath on the auspicious occasion of November 19, that is, 'Labh Pancham'. Due to the Corona epidemic, fewer people will be allowed to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Especially the BJP officials will be present in the oath-taking. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, BJP State President CR Patil, Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja, Bhupendra Singh Chudasama are the main people of the program who will be involved. In the presence of all these, the 8 MLAs who won will take the oath. The program of the oath-taking of the legislators has been kept in the office of Speaker Rajendra Trivedi.

According to the information received, the Congress MLAs also resigned this year. The Election Commission had to get a by-election after the seats were vacant. The by-elections were held on 3 November and after that, the result has come on 10 November. These include Abdasa in Kutch district, Limbdi of Surendranagar, Morbi of Morbi, Dhari of Amreli, Gadha of Botad (reserved - SC), Karjan of Vadodara, Dang's (reserved - SC) of Dang and Kaprada of Valsad (reserved - SC) seats included.
