A shocking incident comes to light from Gujarat where an estranged husband raped his wife who is living separately with him after continuous fights. Her husband raped her in presence of his friend and brother.

As per the information the 34-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her estranged husband in presence of his brother and a friend. The victim was reportedly living separately from her husband for the past 11 months in the Bhawanipur area. The victim was also reportedly subjected to torture by her estranged husband.

The victim was forcibly taken to a guest house in the city on December 20 by the accused. Her husband broke the door of her house on December 20. At that time she was in the bathroom. The victim alleged that her husband's friend and brother dragged her by her hair and took her to the bedroom. Her husband then thrashed her with a stick and also tore her clothes.

The victim also alleged in her complaint that the accused then raped her. Her husband's brother and friend left the house and locked the door from outside. After this the accused called his friend in the evening. The woman was taken to a guest house in a car. The accused raped her again. On December 21 morning, the woman somehow managed to escape from the guest house when her husband was sleeping. She reached the police commissioner's office. She was then admitted to a hospital for treatment. The complaint in the matter was lodged on Thursday when the woman recovered from her injuries. A detailed investigation has been launched. No arrest made in the case.
