Gandhi Nagar: Gujarat will now have to seek online permission for wedding ceremonies. Interestingly, the government suddenly after most of the marriages are over experience awakening in regards to permission. In the prevention of coronavirus, the Gujarat government has now made online registration mandatory for wedding ceremonies, without online registration, action will be taken by the government.

There were persistent complaints of violation of the Covid rules and guidelines issued by the central government during marriages. The decision was taken on behalf of the Government. Many times, even after telling people, people were calling more guests instead of calling fewer people at weddings.  Online permission for marriages has now been made mandatory. In which more than 100 people will be dealt with by the host when they attend the wedding.

The government has also created software for marriage registration. Registration for the wedding will be done on www.digitalgujarat.gov.in. As per the new rule, the applicant will have to print the registration slip after registering for permission for the wedding ceremony and show it when asked by the police or local authorities.
