Ahmedabad: The BJP government of Gujarat has taken a big and important decision on Wednesday. Under this decision, the case has been withdrawn against 32 people including Congress MLA in the case of riots and criminal conspiracy. A trial court in Jetpur in Rajkot district withdrew the case of rioting and criminal conspiracy on the plea of the state government on Wednesday. The case was registered against Congress MLA Lalit Vasoya and his former colleagues of the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti.

The petition of Government lawyer Mahesh Joshi was approved in the trial court of Principal Senior Civil Judge PG Goswami in Jetpur. Meanwhile, the case was withdrawn against 32 people, including Congress MLA Lalit Vasoya. According to a website, the government lawyer said in his statement that he had received an order from the DM of Rajkot district, stating that an application should be made in the trial court that the government does not want to pursue the case. '

The court accepted the government's petition and closed the case against all the 32 accused. As soon as the case is closed, the Congress MLA Lalit Vasoya and all 32 people have got a big relief. Meanwhile, Lalit Vasoya has thanked the state government. In 2017, during the Patidar Reservation Movement, a case was filed alleging the conspiracy of riots. Lalit Vasoya then joined the Congress and contested the assembly and became an MLA.
