Gujarat :PM Modi inspects "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" parade at Statue of Unity in Kevadia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at present is on a two day visit to Gujarat. Here he is chairing the annual conference of state Director Generals of Police (DGP) and IGPs.The DGPs Conference is an event in which top police officers from all over the nation share and talked about security-related issues.

Prime Minister Modi also  inspected the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" parade at Statue of Unity.Police Officials from different state performed at the Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat Parade.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and MoS Home Hansraj Ahir were also present at the occasion.Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was accorded Gaurd of Honour at the Statue of Unity, in Kevadiya.

Addressing the inaugural session of the conference on Thursday, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the internal Security situation in the nation has vastly improved, mainly in the North-East and the Left wing extremism affected States.

Worth mention here Home Minister awarded three police stations--- Kalu in Rajasthan, Campbell Bay in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Farakka in West Bengal for their distinct performance.
