Ahemdabad: Schools and colleges are currently closed across the country due to Coronavirus. Students are being taught at home through online classes. But now online classes have been stopped in Gujarat. According to the latest information, private schools in the state have closed online classes indefinitely.

The schools have taken this decision following an order issued by the state government. The state government in a notification issued last week instructed the schools that till the schools are reopened, the students will not be charged fees. With this, no school can increase the fees in the academic session 2020-2021. On the other hand, if a school is found violating this order, strict action will be taken against it.

Now angry with this decision, the association representing about 15,000 private schools in Gujarat has stopped online classes. Most of these schools informed parents through SMS last night that there will be no online classes from Thursday. However, the state government has not reacted to this decision of the union.
