Gandhinagar: Corona infection is increasing rapidly in Gujarat. In view of these increasing cases, Somnath Temple has been closed till 11 April. Yes, the temple has been closed to the general public. Now devotees will not get entry into the temple until 11 April. This decision has been pronounced by the Somnath Temple Trust. As you all may know, at this time, cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in Gujarat. For this reason, the decision to close the temple has been taken by the temple trust.

Recently a statement has been issued on behalf of the General Manager of Shri Somnath Trust. This statement said that devotees can watch the broadcast of Aarti on the social media page of the temple and its website. You may be aware that the cases of corona in Gujarat are increasing rapidly. There have been 5,011 new cases in the last twenty-four hours, besides 49 patients died. It is being said that for the first time in the state, more than 500 cases were recorded on a single day on Saturday. Giving information about this, an official says that earlier in the month of May last year, the highest number of cases were reported.

In fact, after 5,011 new cases in a day in Gujarat, the total number of infected patients has reached 3,42,026 at present. So far 4,746 patients have died due to infection and 25,129 patients are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
