Surat: A major accident has been reported in Surat in Gujarat. In Surat, six labourers have died due to gas leakage. According to information received, the incident took place in the GIDC area of Surat. Six labourers have lost their lives and more than 20 people have lost their lives due to gas leakage from a chemical tanker here.

Currently, all the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. As soon as the news of the gas leak spread in Surat's GODC area, there was a stir in the entire area. Most of the companies are located in this area, in which many labourers work. So far 6 people have lost their lives due to suffocation. More than 20 people have been admitted to the civil hospital.

According to reports, the gas leak from the tanker has been controlled and the cause of the incident is now under investigation. The administration team has reached the spot for relief and rescue. The place where the incident took place has been sealed and no one is being allowed into the area at present.
