Gujarat Titans are climbing the stairs of success, Mohammed Shami took up a big responsibility.

New Delhi: Almost half the journey of IPL 2022 is over. This time two new teams i.e. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) have debuted in IPL and both the teams have performed well in the tournament so far. Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have emerged as strong teams in this IPL. All the three teams are currently included in the top-3 in the points table. The secret of their success is pav-replay i.e. the first 6 overs game. The bowling average of Titans in this period has been better than other teams.

The credit for this stellar performance of GT goes to its strong team, which is leaving no stone unturned to improve and win matches consistently. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who has taken 10 wickets in his name so far, is one of the reliable players of GT, who has taken the highest number of 17 wickets in the power-play. He is adopting special exercises daily to fit his body and perform better, videos of which he has posted on indigenous social media platform Koo App.

In this video, Shami is seen doing single leg work. In his first match of this season, Shami took 3 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs against LSG.

Shami had dismissed three Lucknow batsmen in the power-play. Shami has played a total of 78 matches in IPL so far, in which he has taken 82 wickets at an economy rate of 8.6.
