He was an actor, director, producer. The real name of  Guru Dutt was Vasanth Kumar Shivshankar Padukone and he committed suicide on 10 October 1964 at the age of 39. At around one o'clock, Guru Dutt suddenly woke up and went to his room. It is said that on that day he wanted to meet his daughter, but after separation, Geeta never let him meet his daughter. That night, he had consumed sleeping pills dissolved in water and was lying on his table. Even today people remember Guru Dutt a lot and he is alive in the hearts of people.
