Guru Gobind Singhji is also considered a great freedom fighter and poet. His sacrifice and heroism are yet to be exemplified. His biggest feature was his bravery. Guru Gobind Singh Ji's birth anniversary is on 20th January this year. The Sikh community celebrates this day as Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Prakash Parv. Gurudwaras are decorated on this day. According to him, a Sikh is like 1.25 lakh people in connection with power and bravery.

Guru Gobind Singhji was the tenth guru of Sikhs. He was born to Mother Gujri ji and father Shri Tegbahadur Ji. Guru Tegbahadur Ji was in Bengal at that moment. According to his word, the child was named Govind Rai and on 1699, on the day of Baisakhi, Guruji became Guru Gobind Singh ji from Govind Rai, from Guruji Panj Pyaro.

Establishment of Khalsa Sect: Guru Gobind Singh ji was a great warrior, poet, devotee and spiritual personality. On april 13, 1699, on the day of Baisakhi, he established the Khalsa sect, which is considered to be the most important event in the history of Sikhs. Khalsa means pure which is pure with mind, word and deed and has a sense of dedication to society in full.

In a meeting of the Sikh community, he asked everyone, who wants to sacrifice his head? A volunteer agreed to it and Guru Gobind Singh took him to another tent and returned after some time with a blood-fitted sword. The Guru again asked the people of that mob the same question and in the same way another person agreed and went with them. Then he came out with a sunny sword with blood, similarly, when the fifth volunteer went inside the tent with him, after some time Guru Gobind Singh returned with all the surviving servants and gave him the name of panj darling or first Khalsa.
