A 16-year-old teenager was stabbed to death in a land dispute at village Bugna in Dorangla late Tuesday evening. The body was sent to the Civil Hospital for post mortem. DSP Dinanagar Mahesh Kumar took stock of the incident and recorded the statements of the victim. The deceased Gurpreet's younger brother, Lavpreet, said that his family is a resident of Awankha and his mother has got 12 acres of land from Nanihal.

My father and mother had struggled to get the land released from the possession of the attackers. Lovepreet said that on Tuesday evening, he was levelling the field with his father by tractor and his brother Gurpreet was fixing the trails. Shamma, Pamma, Ratan, Sukha, Dhir, Arsh, Sunny, Mannaav, Mahak were planting paddy in the nearby field. When Gurpreet approached them, they overpowered him.
