Numerous men- mostly those with a high level of macho-ism- tag pink as more of a feminine color. If we go around asking people “how do guys look in different hues of pink?” We get to hear a constant reaction from people i.e.

“It too girly for boys”. Moreover, they consider that “Pink is for girls and Blue is for boys.” A wise man once quoted “Bravery never goes out of fashion”. It’s a myth that men cannot wear pink and it is totally immature to judge a person by the shades of color he’s wearing.

However, it just highlights the gender stereotyped thinking of the society. For a matter of fact, from the movie “The Great Gatsby” to the city boys, wearing a pink shirt is not only acceptable for men but is also classic and stylish. In a day-to-day life pink shirts are so popular in classic men’s fashion and in the testosterone fueled financial sector and is highly considered as an almost conservative color choice. It is simply one of the most flattering colors a man can wear.

Deep shades of pink compliments men with some color in their skin, whether that’s down to ethnicity, holiday or tanning salon. For men with light skin tones, delicate shades of pink are far more flattering than bright white. So, why worry about being called something you aren’t! If you like pink shirt, make it happen.
