Bhopal: Guidelines for policemen have been issued in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, if we follow the guidelines issued by the Superintendent of Police recently, strict action will be taken at the departmental level against any policeman who puts his pistol wrongly and does not follow all the rules. This was informed by Gwalior Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi. Recently, Amit Sanghi said, "Guidelines have been issued from time to time on how to wear uniforms to the policemen. How to keep weapons. But still, the policemen on duty in some police stations keep the pistol wrongly in the belt. Now, if the policemen do not follow the rules properly, strict action will be taken against them.''

At the same time, he said, "In the police regulation on how to wear uniforms, how to keep weapons, and our departmental circulars have been issued from time to time, but in some police stations, employees are doing duty in civil. He further said that he puts the pistol in the belt incorrectly. Police regulation should be strictly followed in the case of pistols and belts. Stalls and welds cannot be set up if the policeman is not wearing a uniform. Except in special circumstances, you have to be on duty in uniform.'' He also clarified that the pistol would be kept in the lanyard. It should not be displayed by trapping it in a belt.

Moreover, the Gwalior Superintendent of Police said that all except the staff engaged in information collection in the police station will be on duty in uniform and will wear uniforms properly. The CSP has also directed the Additional SP to see that no one should wear any civil unnecessarily on a visit to the police stations. Amit Sanghi also said, "No policeman is allowed to do duty without uniform except the employees who write the information.'' He further clarified that strict action will be taken against the employee or police station in charge without any notice and seeking cleanliness if any employee and policeman are found violating the rules.
