Gymnast Saumyasarthy Ganguly serves humanity as a microbiologist amid corona outbreak

In the Corona epidemic, many people of the country came forward to support needy .Now Saumyasarthy Ganguly who is national level artistic gymnast before COVID-19 extended helping hands to serve humanity.

This is 22-year-old Saumyasarthy Ganguly. Has won five gold medals at the state level and two silver and four bronze medals at the national level. In this difficult situation, Saumyasarthy is working hard as a microbiologist at Peerless Hospital in Kolkata. He collect samples of 50 to 60 suspected patients daily for the COVID-19 test.

Saumyasarthy, a resident of the Garia region of Kolkata, has a BSc in Micro Biology from Deenbandhu Andrews College, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Biology from IIT Kharagpur. Saumyasarthy does this work diligently for six to seven hours every day. He said- 'There is a risk in collecting samples, testing samples of patients suspected of COVID-19, but as a micro biologist how can I turn away from this work? I feel very proud to do this work and feel that in this hour of crisis I am able to serve humanity. And this work done by him is an inspiration for all.
