New Delhi: After knowing about the crime case that has come up recently, you will be shocked. This matter is related to adult live streaming website CAM4. According to the information received, Cam4 is an adult website, which advertises 'free live sex cam'. Such cyber security researchers have said in their new report that hackers have got the data of millions of users of this website.

According to the news recently, the report of The Next Web has come out and according to it, the leaked data includes the user's name, email, payment details, IP address and the data of the conversation. The researchers said that the size of the leaked database is 7TB (7000GB). Senior researcher Anurag Sen of the Security Detective Research Team said, "There are 10.88 billion (1.88 thousand crore) records in this database, including server logs, password hashes and customer information." This data log is from March 16 till now.

Cybercrime also scares people along with Coronavirus

Credit card and payment details also leaked - The research team has found 1.1 crore email IDs, 26 million password hashes and hundreds of records which include the full name of the user, credit card type and paid amount details. Not only this, in the database, researchers have found the user's username, gender preferences, sexual orientation, IP address, device information, details of emails and chat transcripts of conversations with CAM4. Cyber Criminals use these data for phishing attacks and cyber extortion and this data leak can be very dangerous for adult sites as most of its users want to keep their identity confidential. Recently researchers have come to know about this leak, but there is no news about whether or not hackers misused this data.
