Ranchi: Amidst the ongoing loudspeaker war in India, the absurd statement of a minister of the Soren government of Jharkhand has come to the fore. State's Minority Welfare Minister Hafizul Hasan has given the statement. Hassan has also accused the central government of being biased towards a particular religion. He said that if you are 80 per cent, then we are also 20 per cent. If we are harassed then even 80 percent of the people will have to lock the doors of their houses.

Talking to reporters, the minister said that we all know what is happening in the country. We are seeing everything. The central government is adopting partisan treatment against a particular religion. Due to this, not one, but everyone is being harmed. If we are 20 percent, then you are 70 or 80 percent. If 20 percent of the houses will be closed, then 70 percent will also have to close their house. Everyone has understood this thing.

Hafizul Hasan, who is holding the responsibility of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism along with the Minority Welfare, has been in the news in the past due to controversial statements. When the Modi government at the Center had decided to increase the age of marriage of girls, he had also said that the central government should reduce the age of marriage of girls instead of increasing the age of marriage. MLA from Mudhupur assembly seat had argued behind this that the physical development of girls is faster than that of boys. In view of this, the age of marriage should be reduced to 16 years. However, he had also said that if the age of marriage is not reduced, then at least it should be allowed to remain 18 years.
