Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot reached Ajmer to address the divisional-level function on Friday. But as soon as the Chief Minister reached the venue, it started raining heavily and hail started falling. Due to this, the Congress workers left by making umbrellas for the chairs on which they were sitting. This whole incident went on only in the presence of CM. Seeing this, some leaders hurriedly reached the gate of the venue and tried to stop the workers. But the workers did not stop.

Due to this, the workers also tore down the banner posters on the road. But, in the midst of heavy rain, Ashok Gehlot continued his address. Congress workers also praised this. State in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, while addressing the function further, said that the Rajasthan government of the state has done historic works. The public once again wants to hand over the power of Rajasthan to the Congress. Now it is the turn of the Congress workers to go among the public and tell about the successes of the Congress government. Due to this, State President Govind Singh Dotasara, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore, Gujarat in-charge of Congress Raghu Sharma, and other leaders also addressed the crowd.

While discussing the same programme with the media afterward, Gehlot lashed out at the Modi government at the Centre. He alleged that constitutional institutions were being misused during the BJP's rule. As a result, the country's constitution and democracy are now in danger. The way Rahul Gandhi has raised the issue of Adani, the government should have responded to it. But he did not answer in the Parliament, and he was expelled from the membership of the Parliament itself. Further, Gehlot said that when the BJP talked about creating a Hindu nation, Amritpal in Punjab was talking about Khalistan. The situation in the country is becoming increasingly worrying. Today, Congress workers remained engaged in the Congress workers conference even in the midst of heavy rain. This is an indication that the public is now ignoring the BJP. On the other hand, due to the heavy rains, Congress workers were avoiding the rain by turning their chairs upside down to avoid it. While expressing his displeasure, a worker said that just as these chairs have turned upside down, so has this government. Thereafter, the worker started raising the slogan "PM Narendra Modi Zindabad."
