New Delhi: A video of hair expert Javed Habib is going viral on social media. In this video, he is seen spitting in a woman's hair. Many social media users are demanding a boycott of Javed Habib after the video went viral. In the viral video, Habib is seen setting the hair of a woman sitting on a chair. In the meantime, he is asking the woman to shampoo her hair as dirty. In the meantime, he spits on the woman's hair saying that there is less water ahead. Not only that, Javed Habib says, 'There is life in this spit. Even after Javed Habib's act, many people present there are seen clapping and laughing.

After the video went viral on social media, the woman whose hair was spit by Javed Habib has now surfaced. The woman has given her name as Pooja Gupta.

The woman has said, 'I am from Baraut. I run a parlour. I had arrived at Javed Habib's seminar. It was he who called me on stage for a haircut. In the meantime, he misbehaved with me. Tried to show that if there is no water, you can cut hair only with sputum. I'll get a haircut from my street barber but never from Javed Habib. Shefali Vaidya shared the video on her Twitter handle and wrote, 'The woman who was spit on is laughing and everyone present is clapping. It is disgusting.'

Ajmer Deputy Mayor Neeraj Jain has also demanded a boycott of Javed Habib. He has termed the act as 'spit jihad'. According to media reports, the video is said to be from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. This week, Javed Habib gave a demonstration at a workshop held at King Villa, a hotel on the highway. In the case, SSP Muzaffarnagar said that the viral video is being investigated. Action will be taken as per law on confirmation.
