You might have, heard about Halloween or Hallowe'en. Although Halloween is not an Indian Festival but we have started celebrating it in India also. Halloween  is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, Halloween is all about scary decorations and spooky vibes all around. So to celebrate your next Halloween here are some best and haunted places to visit in India.

Saliao: This place in Goa is supposedly haunted by a lady ghost Christalina. According to a folk tales, the woman was seen by a church's bishop who fainted right away on seeing the apparition. When he woke up, he was screaming her name. Nights are really eerie in the region and therefore it is one of the best places to celebrate Halloween.

Tunnel 33: One of the best place with beauty perspective and Halloween perspective is Tunnel 33 in Shimla. The place is named after Colonel Barog whose ghost is believed to haunt the place. The Kalka, Shimla route has a tunnel, which lasts for over 2 minutes. Shimla is one of the  best places to travel in India and these horror elements makes your journey more adventurous.

Dumas Beach: Dumas Beach in Goa is one of the most haunted places in India. Several people have reported hearing whispers on the beach. Additionally, there have been instances where the individuals went for their evening walk but never came back. There are various stories based on the mysterious beach.

Malcha Mahal: Malcha Mahal, also known as Wilayat Mahal, is a hunting lodge from the Tughlaq era situated in Chanakyapuri in Delhi. On September 10, 1993, Begum Wilayat Mahal committed suicide at the age of 62 by eating crushed diamonds.  The people who visit the site claim that they feel some energy which hits them whenever they go there and therefore is considered one of the most haunted places in India.

Lambi Dehar mines, Mussoorie: The mine was shut down years ago after a number of inexplicable truck accidents resulting in deaths of workers. There was a time when over 50000 workers used to inhabit this region but most suffered a painful death because of lung diseases and now the place is one of the isolated and mysterious to celebrate Halloween.
