Tel Aviv, Israel - As the Israel-Hamas conflict reaches its eighth day, Hamas has released footage depicting Israeli children they allege were held as hostages during the devastating assault on Southern Israel, as per a report by The Jerusalem Post.

The video was shared by the Hamas group on their Telegram channel with the caption, "Hamas combatants demonstrating concern for children amidst the Kibbutz 'Holit' skirmishes on the first day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood."

Kibbutz Holit, situated in southern Israel, near the Gaza border, bore witness to horrendous acts perpetrated by the terrorist group Hamas during their October 7 incursion into Israel. The attack on Kibbutz Holit led to the tragic loss of 13 Israeli lives, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Israeli media has not yet identified the children in the video, and it remains uncertain if their parents were casualties during their abduction.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) posted an 'X' on their social media platform, asserting that these children were being held hostage within their own homes by Hamas terrorists while their parents lay deceased in the adjacent room. The post described, "You can witness their injuries, hear their cries, and sense their tremors of fear, as these children are unjustly held captive by Hamas terrorists in their own homes, with their parents lying lifeless nearby. These are the terrorists we are determined to overcome."

In the aftermath of the attack on Kibbutz Holit, the scene is one of bullet-riddled structures, charred vehicles, and shattered windows, serving as a testament to the suffering inflicted during the invasion. Discarded weaponry and ammunition left behind by the terrorists further attests to the turmoil. Israel's defense forces, now in control of the town after a "surprise" attack, have stationed military tanks throughout the area.

Footage from Kibbutz Be'eri similarly reveals the aftermath of the horrors committed by Hamas terrorists who reportedly went from door to door, either taking residents as hostages or taking their lives.

A resident named Gili shared the distressing account of his family members being taken captive by Hamas terrorists. He expressed his determination to reunite with his sister.

Meanwhile, in New York, extensive images of Israeli hostages, encompassing babies, elderly men, and women, were projected onto the side of the United Nations headquarters building.

In a recent update, the IDF reported that over 120 civilians were being unlawfully detained in Gaza by the Hamas terrorist organization. According to the IDF, more than 1300 people have lost their lives in the Hamas terror attacks on Israel, with over 3000 individuals sustaining injuries.
