In his tweets, Hansal has hit out at the rest of the celebs who did not come forward in support of Shilpa. You can see Hansal wrote in a tweet, 'If you can't stand up for Shilpa, at least leave her alone. Give them privacy. It is very wrong that people without a court verdict call anyone guilty.'

This vilification is a pattern. If the allegations are against a film person there is a rush to invade privacy, to pass sweeping judgement, to character-assassinate, to fill 'news' with trashy gossip - all at the cost of individuals and their dignity. This is the cost of silence.
