Singer Abhijeet, who has earned millions of hearts in his name, is celebrating his birthday today. Let us tell you that Abhijeet Bhattacharya was born on 30 October 1958 in a Bengali family in Mumbai. He is the youngest of four siblings. Abhijeet was born in Mumbai but brought up in Kanpur and did his high school from the famous Ramakrishna Mission School in Kanpur and 12th from BNSD Inter College. After that, he did BCom from Kanpur's Christ Church College and after four years of BCom, Abhijeet left Kanpur to study Chartered Accountancy and moved to Mumbai.

But going there, he decided to take himself between the musical notes and not in the balance sheet. After that, RD Burman gave him the first big break. He got a chance to sing in Dev Anand's son's debut film Anand and he worked with his idol, Kishore Kumar. Let us tell you that in the 90s, Abhijeet's coin shone and soon he became the favourite voice for Shah Rukh Khan's characters. After that, his songs sung for Shahrukh's film proved to be a great hit. Let us tell you that he also received the Filmfare Singing Award for this film. After singing, Abhijeet also appeared in Reality TV and he was involved as a judge in Star Voice of India.

Abhijeet was also against the influx of Pakistani artists and together with Bhajan singers Anoop Jalota, Jagjit Singh, Kumar Sanu and Jaspinder Narula, he wrote a letter to the Government of India and also demanded that the Pakistani artists should stop the show in the country. By the way, his six albums were released, including Main Deewana Hoon, Tapori No. 1, Aashiqui, Tere Bina and AB.
