Today is the birthday of Babita Shivdasani, who made her a great place in Bollywood. Babita Shivdasani is celebrating her 74th birthday today. Let all of you know that Babita Shivdasani is married to Randhir Kapoor and they have two daughters, which is a big name of Bollywood today. Her elder daughter's name is Karishma Kapoor while her younger daughter's name is Kareena Kapoor. Babita was an actress of the 70-the 80s and she was related to the Sindhi family. Babita's father Hari Shivdasani was also an actor and not only that, the famous actress was his cousin in the Sadhana relationship. Babita's family was originally from Pakistan and when the India-Pakistan partition took place, her family moved to India.

Babita made her film debut in the year 1966 and it was very successful in Bollywood. The next year of this film, she got a big recognition from the film Raj released in 1967. Let us tell you that Babita has done only 19 films in her film career and after marriage, she did not work. Many memorable films of Babita came in front of the audience, including films like Kismat, Aapke Achcha Kaun Hai, Hasina Maan Jaanegi, Anjaana, Kab Kyun Aur Kaun, and Identity. The success of films brought Babita to stardom, fame, and status in the industry. While working in a film, Randhir Kapoor fell in love with Babita and when the two talked about getting married, the whole family turned against her. It is said that one reason for being against marriage was that at that time it was considered a crime to marry an actress in the Kapoor family. 

After marriage, Babita did not do a single film. After marriage, Babita had two daughters and wanted to make her daughters stand on their feet. Yes, her dream was that daughters should earn a lot of names in the industry but Randhir Kapoor was not ready for this. At the same time, Babita had decided and after her decision, Karisma stepped into Bollywood. After that Randhir and Babita's relationship was on the verge of breaking up and in 1988 Babita left Randhir with both her daughters and started making a career for both daughters. It is said that Karishma made her Bollywood debut in the year 1991. Let me tell you that Karisma Kapoor is the first actress in the family who chose films as her career. After that in 2007, Babita and Randhir's relationship started improving and now both are often seen together in the family function.
