Divya Bharti was born on 25 February 1974. Today is her 45th birth anniversary. She started her career in 1990 at the age of 16 with the Telugu film 'Bobbili Raja'. This film is among the biggest hits of Telugu so far. After this, she also worked in many big and hit Bollywood films. 

She did the first Hindi film 'Vishwatma' in 1992 and from then she never looked back. Interestingly, Evergreen actor Dev Anand was also her fans. Divya Bharti was born in Mumbai and her father was an insurance officer. She had been in Bollywood for only two years and had achieved a lot in a short time. She became a superstar after appearing in Telugu films with stars like Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu and gave big hits.

Divya Bharti signed Rajiv Rai's 'Vishwatma' opposite Sunny Deol. The film did average business but the film's song 'Saat Samandar' was a super hit. After this, her film 'Deewana' and 'Shola Aur Shabnam' were big hits. Sajid Nadiadwala and Divya Bharti secretly married on 10 May 1992. Troubled by the news of the link-up with the co-star, Divya decided to get married. Her friend and hairdresser friend Sandhya was present in this wedding. This marriage lasted only one year.

On April 5, 1993, she become victim to an accident and fell down from the balcony of her fifth-floor house. Due to this, she died. Someone calls it murder, someone calls it a suicide. But till date, Divya's death is only a mystery.
