Javed Akhtar's real name was Jaadu. In fact, his father Jan Nisar Akhtar's name was named 'Lamha Kisi Jadu Ka Fasana Hoga'. Javed spent most of his childhood in Lucknow and Javed was very inspired by Pakistani writer Ibn-e-Safi. Javed Saheb loved watching Dilip Kumar's films in Bollywood as a child and this was the time when Javed Akhtar's inclination towards literature and cinema increased. Javed Akhtar came to Mumbai in 1964 and did not have a house to live in. During that time, he spent many nights under the tree, and for several days they did not even get food properly. However, he later found a place to stay at Kamal Amrohi's studio in Jogeshwari. Talking about the Salim-Javed duo, he was born in the early 70s. Both wrote dialogues together for a total of 24 films. However, due to some ideological differences, the famous duo parted ways.
