Today is the birthday of South Superstar Kamal Haasan. He was born on 07 November 1954 in Paramkudi, Tamil Nadu. Kamal Haasan, who became an actor according to his father's wishes, started his career as a child artist. The character he played in this film was highly appreciated and he was also awarded the National Award for this.

Kamal did many Hindi films in his career which became a super hit. In the beginning, the directors questioned his style of acting and went on to say that he does not know acting. But proving their point wrong with his unmatched acting, he established himself as a superstar.

Kamal Haasan has done excellent Hindi films in his career like Giraftaar, Sagar, Hai Ram, Raj Tilak, Ek Duje Ke Liye. Along with that, in the South too, many superhit films include Jinam Papashnam, Dasavataram, Uttam Villain etc. Talking about family, Kamal married actress Vani Ganapathy in 1978, but after living together for 10 years, they got divorced in 1988. After that Kamal married actress Sarika in 1988 but this marriage also did not last and in 2004 Kamal also left Sarika. He is currently in a relationship with Gautami Tadimalla. He has two daughters. Actress Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan. Both have established themselves in Bollywood.
